i'm uncastable
(please watch and enjoy and share if you enjoyed, or at least click "Like" on youtube.
and then share it, too.)
i made this with great people, and we laughed so much. wish they could all be 10 minutes long.

fort de roovere

our adventurous, dirty-kneed, daydreamy childhood selves just had their dreams come true realizing the existence of this.

purchase v purchase
i miss thrifting. making a list of where to go around here but it seems like c.t. and m.a. will never be topped. (and don't get me wrong, chicago, you won't either. you won't either.)
these (pictured) are some things on their way. let's hope. one old/one new.
ny [city] is secondhand stupid. overpriced and for stuff that's been found and re-found for years and years. so many people in and out, so much turnover. on craigslist, someone says, this is a brand new couch but i can't fit it in my door. here it is for so much less. everyone's always moving, happens all the time.
or, that modern desk in a vintage store was purchased four years ago by someone hip and four years before that by someone with less money, and a few years before that it was already in its sixth or sixteenth home. feels un-special.
i still like: oh this one came from an estate sale, or my aunt, or i don't know but it's 35 dollars, or dig dig dig dig dig till you find something.
but luckily lately i have been directed to some better hidden gems. and hopefully i'll see daylight soon for long enough to go get my hands on some things, or at least consider it.
